Boris Hanečka Exclusively as a Guest from Slovakia at SFS 09

Boris Hanečka introduces the collection "The Signs of the Zodiac", where each model represents one symbol of the horoscope.

The collection of 12 models shows in an original designer aproach the well know attributes of the zodiac. In the models the audience can always discover the story which the author had in mind while designing the collection.

Fashion designer Boris Hanečka has a talent to create from the dress a "theatrical" costume and on the other hand give a certain orginality even to a classical simple silhouette.

Boris Hanečka studied the University of Visual Arts in Bratislava, the studio of fashion design. Today he has become one of the most accomplished designers both in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He has presented his fashion also in Lisbon (Portugal), Bonn (Germany), Mexico and New York. He works in Bratislava, Prague and Paris. He has received the prestigious award "Designer of the Year" for his contribution to Slovak fashion in the year 2008.
